This. When it was urban legends and monsters it kicked ass, but the moment they got into the Judeau Christian lore and brought in angels during season 4 it went to shit. It just got dumber and dumber until it imploded into a full on pandering to incest yaoi loving fangirls.

Isn't Grimm exactly that? I remember catching a few sparse episodes on TV when I needed background noise and those episodes seemed self-contained monster of the week affairs. Although there's probably very much faggotry involved in that show as well.
