I don't talk politics even with most of my family because too many people are fucking retarded and can't discuss shit like adults. If there's a friend like that in your life you should probably ditch them.

I have problems with unfriending someone. It's painful, for me and the other person. I've only done it once. One of my friends had become legit mentally ill, like an SJW Terry A. Davis, and I couldn't take it any more.

I also feel like it's admitting defeat. It seems like the kind of thing SJWs do to stay in their own echo chamber.

It was useful for keeping in touch with people some years ago, but nowadays whatsapp has made it kinda futile. It's still a good place to get yourself banned for hate speech though.

One guy I have lunch with is a liberal. A Bernie liberal. He also has emotional maturity. He comes from a family of cops and is actually extremely pro-cop, and I think all this anti-cop sentiment pushed him to Trump's camp, because he doesn't like talking about who he voted for.

I already did that. But he can still see what I post and has to jump in every time I or my friends say something he doesn't like. Then he lectures people in that smug condescending and ridiculing tone that every SJW media talking head has.

Has anyone lost family or think of a family member less because of politics?

I avoid talking politics with family since forever or so since they're all pretty 'green' and worship the climate gods and such and do not respond well to logical arguments (surprising, I know!).. wouldn't ever let politics ruin family relations for me though.
