China reopening doesn't mean anything. The Chinks will happily let half of their people or more die off just to keep up the lie that everything is normal there and they have corona contained. China reopened the wet markets and it's clear they've been lying about shit-tons of things related to the virus. China's whole gimmick is "fuck everything except the money we take from roundeyes."

Many companys who moved to china are now thinking about moving out. But like my company they had to learn something real nice.... 51% of every company must be owned by the State of China. So even when my boss moves every bit of production out of chink land, he cannot move any machines or even data out without Winnie the poohs approval.
We have invested over 5millions over 10years because it was the best option to get a cheap workforce. Now my boss is fucked because the chinks would keep the production machines and knowhow and sell our product themself. Even if my boss would lawer up, they would not care.

The basics are something like your company "invests" into a chinese company and you get your product in return. It gets cheaper if you develope your products in house with chinese ingeneurs. "That way the people who produce the stuff know exactly whats going on, because a local tech made the plan."

My boss hat a few time the problem that copies of our product were made, but nobody found who did it. After some digging it came out that the factory supervisor produced monday to saturday our official stuff, but on sunday they used our machines to make the knock offs by changing a simple insert inside the mold. They swapped our logo with the knockoff brand and then sold them to some black market dealer.
Needless to say that this guy was never found again.....
