Ren and Stimpy's animation was great for television quality animation. From what I heard and what little I've seen while it looks okay in stills, but in motion not so much. Plus the only time the animation really shines is that Rubberhose thing from the movie. Otherwise it's just ok. It's not bland like those flash animated Cucknadian imported shows but it's not nu-Spongebob tier.

But that wasn't flash animated and the show was fine from what I can remember since it's been so long since I watched it. I mean shit along the lines of Almost Naked Animals, Grojband, Kid Vs Kat, Spliced and other similar stuff.

Been watching that show during crisis 2020 and there’s a funny ass joke where a principal asks the dude why can’t he be more more like his sister and dude replies with “Well that’s an expensive operation.”

I miss when cartoons still had jingles as their openers.

I'll go you one farther. You used to be able to tell everything about a cartoon just from watching the first minute. It contained the entire premise and everything. Having a kickass soundtrack also helped.





By the way, I've been doing comprehensive research, and I've come to the conclusion that pound-for-pound, this is the most 80s cartoon that has existed.
I dont mean just big hair and neon--I mean checking off as many boxes of possible cliches and standards of the era. If theres a more concentrated one, let me know.
