Leftists would probably also be the only ones who would care. Everyone else's knowledge about WW1 anectodes probably just boils down to that one time everyone chillaxed to celebrate Christmas. Maybe you'll find someone who knows what All Quiet on the Western Front is.

I tried reading Robert Grave's Goodbye to all That and enjoyed it but didn't finish it (I have a bad habit of not finishing anything I do whether I like it or not.) I wanted to wait till I was finished with that before moving on to Storm of Steel or any of the frog WW1 memoirs but it never happened.
I have the Sargonbook of Storm of Steel on my PMP, the presentation is fine but I just have the memory and attention span of a goldfish so I only listened to a bit of it.
