Saw a promo for Marvel's Inhumans series with a "Trump-like villain!" Guess we're officially entering phase 2 now. Phase 1 was movies anticipating a super-gay super-diverse Hillary era. Now they'll all be about rebels fighting against Republicans.

Somebody doesn't understand how money works.

I really feel that there is absolutely no reason for Wonder Woman not to have a female love interest. Yes, there will be opponents, yes they would lose out in some foreign markets, but I know that the supporters would outshine the opponents and any money lost would be made up for in other territories.

And for some reason, this post really pisses me off. They "just" got nice things? Fuck you and your low sperm count.

Is it really fair to make WW "answer" to more extreme forms of feminism in her second film? Down the line as maybe a Logan-esque capper to a franchise it could work, but making her have to show up other feminists, no matter how extreme, seems kinda cruel to women. They just got nice things, let them have some fun first.

Supposedly WW 2 is taking place in the '80s so maybe he's conflating it with the Atomic Blonde trailer. I want it on record that I'm cool with Wonder Woman bedding hot French girls, but he probably wants someone like Amy Schumer or Lena Dunham.

They actually did something like that in the last arc of season 4 of Agents of Shield. It was a simulation, but I do think it counts. In their version of the Matrix called the Framework, they had Hydra dominating the world, oppressing Inhumans and occasionally some little Whedonesque jabs at Trump, Hydra wanted to make society great again, one of the characters commenting about Hydra producing alternative facts, "The Bakshi report" which was their propaganda news program, probably more that I missed.
I guess they cannot even write an original piece for the Inhumans series. They keep pushing that project, Nobody is excited for the supposed movie and I don't hear anything positive about the series either.
