No you are. My initial point was that most people never read anything niche or upmarket so you can put anything you want in a book, and there you are with 'WELL ACKSHUALLY PEOPLE LITERALLY DO READ'

Keep moving those goal posts. Exactly what I said. First it's "nobody reads", then it's "they do but don't pay attention" then it's "b-but it's not aktshual reading because it's not good enough books".Kugelfisch wrote: ↑Thu Jul 25, 2019 2:57 amAnd that's your entire point, really. And what is it? That people don't read because they don't read "right" or don't read what you deem worth reading.
>nobody reads
>everyone reads but not in this specific way so it's not reading

Re: Books
I said that nobody actually reads. That 'actually' is a very powerful operative word.
I never moved the goal posts, you did. Hold that L again, Mein Führer. You should be used to it by now

Re: Books
This little discussion about reading has just forced me to read a lot of autistic ramblings.
Autism attracts more autism. Sooner or later, an internet nobody will attract the exact kind of fans - and detractors - he deserves.

Re: Books
How do people manage do read while in the car, bus, or train? I get severely motion sick if I ever try to have a little at a text while moving.

Different for different people, I guess. I can't read while in a car or on the bus but have no problems on the train or the plane
