That's a Reddit-tier talking point. In truth both the books the show had very clear moral lines between good and evil. Gay modernist morality but it exists.

I read the damn things, and I call bullshit. Like 99.9% of the characters were just varying levels of assholes. The Starks and their relatives were pretty much the only exception. And even they had Arya to deal with. And she's more of a dumbass than Joffrey.
