Re: Non-cape tv show
GoT(is) has been designated as one of the big shows, with hundreds - if not thousands - of sites creating clickbait-y deep lore / analysis / speculation articles. Some people feel the need to follow the show so they can be part of this.Kugelfisch wrote: ↑Wed May 08, 2019 2:07 amI don't get that mindset. The sunken cost fallacy doesn't actually apply to something so benign as watching some show where you get absolutely nothing out of it in the first place if it's a chore to sit through.
Only time I ever slugged through a show was TNG because I already knew the should would get better after the first two seasons.
I guess it's a thing for normalfags, though. There are still people watching The Walking Dead.

You're too stupid to follow an entertainment medium for retarded Asian children.Kugelfisch wrote: ↑Wed May 08, 2019 2:34 pmNah, can't agree with that.Guest wrote: ↑Wed May 08, 2019 12:17 pmThree episode rule bitch.
You're taste is media indicates you have absolutely no respect for either yourself or your time. Don't give me that shit.
Animu episodes are also shorter than your trash normalfag shows. Like 24 minutes at most as opposed to maybe 45. Three episodes is just a little over an hour.

You're the retard that needs three full episodes to figure out if Lucky Star is something for him. Or is it some compulsory autism thing you're doing like tendies at 1pm?Guest wrote: ↑Wed May 08, 2019 7:02 pmYou're too stupid to follow an entertainment medium for retarded Asian children.

Lucky Star is a terrible example, because it took four episodes of Yamakan ruining everything to finally become kino.

And this is why Azumanga Daioh will always be the superior Slice-of-Life, for it was kino from the very first scene onwards.

This is the problem with so many shows and movies. They're a social event instead of a piece of art. That's why so much big name shit makes obscene amounts of money. Even The Rise of Skywalker's Erection is going to sell tons of tickets because people want to be able to talk about it around the water cooler. Actually well written movies will flounder in obscurity, if they even get made, because everyone would rather pay Hollywood to shit on their face as long as it means their doing what everyone else is doing.VoiceOfReasonPast wrote: ↑Wed May 08, 2019 6:57 pmGoT(is) has been designated as one of the big shows, with hundreds - if not thousands - of sites creating clickbait-y deep lore / analysis / speculation articles. Also because it's not a circlejerk of self referential weeaboo shit that requires you to be a no life otaku incel to get any of the jokes.VoiceOfReasonPast wrote: ↑Wed May 08, 2019 7:12 pmAnd this is why Azumanga Daioh will always be the superior Slice-of-Life, for it was kino from the very first scene onwards.
