This is the problem with so many shows and movies. They're a social event instead of a piece of art. That's why so much big name shit makes obscene amounts of money. Even The Rise of Skywalker's Erection is going to sell tons of tickets because people want to be able to talk about it around the water cooler. Actually well written movies will flounder in obscurity, if they even get made, because everyone would rather pay Hollywood to shit on their face as long as it means their doing what everyone else is doing.
