The entire Left Coast is infected with this shit. There are plenty of us, especially in rural areas, that think it's bullshit. But the highly populated cities (Like Seattle, Portland, SanFran) hold the majority of votes. In the 2004 election, a Republican won the gubernatorial election. Democrats demanded a recount, which again said the republican won. Then suddenly Seattle "found" a whole lot of "missing" ballots and demanded another recount. The Democrat won and she was sworn in.

Plus, my state did this horrible thing by removing the two-party system. They enacted this bizarre Nonpartisan blanket primary system that has the top two candidates in the primary run for office, with no regard to party. So what we get is two Democrats in most elections here. In my city I have to choose which left-wing asshole is the least extreme for all positions every time.

Just like our state had an "everything but marriage" bill that was advertised as allowing a gays to have a civil-union so that a sick gay could have his partner could visit him in the hospital. Yeah, I've heard this shit too. It was shilled as part of getting money out of polidix and going outside the left-right paradigm so we could get more independent candidates. But it's a lie. The reality is the blue states want to be able to put blue candidates up against other blue candidates so you have to either not vote or vote blue. I guess I can't blame them for that, seeing as how the republitards would probably do the same fucking thing if they thought that shit would fly. Politicians redistrict all the time so they can skew the votes in their favor, and that's not even counting voter fraud, which has become really blatant.

That said, it's the shitlibs doing this garbage right now and the shitlibs who have to be opposed. A two-party system is still better than a ONE-party system, which is what shitlibs like Movieblob want. At the very least, they'll "settle" for a nominal two-party system where you get to "choose" between a far-left liberal nutjob candidate and a left-liberal candidate. Anyone center-right or further is out of the question (and running.)

Our state legalized marijuana for everyone 21+, not just medicinal. We were told the state would get rich from the tax revenue and they wouldn't need to raise any other taxes because the pot would pay for schools, public transit, everything.
I had thought it would be regulated like tobacco. Instead, there are huge potshop billboards everywhere, in full view of kids and eyesore pot shops on every other block.
People are driving under the influence of weed and the police are having an extremely hard time dealing with it because there's no "legal limit", and no such test exists even if there were one.
Dirtbags and homeless from all over America have moved up here, drawn like a magnet.
We were told that pot use would not increase under legalization. But of course usage has shot up. Dumb potheads leave their weed lying around in their house where their kids can easily get it, and dogs have been poisoned chewing on it. Everywhere you go, people reek like weed. You'll get stuck in a crowd or elevator with these people.

TL;DR - Legalized recreational drugs are a bad idea because human beings are generally irresponsible.

It's not a pretty position to be in. You can vote establishment parties that are all the same that collaborate with each other or you can vote AfD, which aren't perfect either, to get a tiny, little voice that will be disregarded as "Nazi" in parliament.
It nets you results like we just got in Schleswig-Holstein. The problem is that I can't vote against what I don't want. I hate the kiddiefuckers from the green party. I get them either way. Vote left and you get them, vote right and you get them. I think I've doxed myself in the past here. I'll just say I'm dealing with the same shit and it sucks ass. My town has become a magnet for homeless. I fucking hate it. Neighborhoods I use to walk around freely in are now packed with skeevy-ass drug addict homeless bums. You can't put your trash out without 6+ homeless shits rifling through it. The thing that really fucking pissed me off was when I set the trash out and some homeless piece of human waste rifled all through it AND TOSSED IT OUT OF THE FUCKING CAN. I lost my shit when I saw that. Would have gone for a fun, but he was long gone by the time I noticed.

The constant reek of weed is just the way shit is here. I hardly notice it now. Even when pot was illegal, I'd see some dude openly smoking downtown on the sidewalk. Rooms in my old college library (years ago) would reek of the weed kids were smoking. It's not a new problem here. I don't give a shit if people smoke weed and legalizing weed isn't the only reason we have such a massive homelessness problem here. The other reasons are a moderate climate and a dickless police force who are being FORCED by shitlibs to do nothing about the homelessness.

If it was JUST people without jobs chilling here, I'd have no problem. But with homelessness comes insanity, crime and drug addiction. Random crazy dudes ride by on bikes shouting to themselves, or chill outside my house and talk to themselves all day. These people need to be committed and not wandering around.

Oh, and despite the whole "we'll tax marijuana and it'll pay for everything" bullshit, EVERY SINGLE TIME I GET AN OPPORTUNITY TO VOTE, no joke, there's at least one new tax or a tax increase proposed on there. We vote no on those every goddamn time and they usually are defeated, but they ALWAYS come back. The problem with taxes isn't how much money the state takes in. The problem is how they SPEND it.
