Goku would have been just as beloved in America with the voice of Ian James Corlett. Or Vic Mignogna, or Steve Blum, or DarkSydePhil, or Betty White. It's the CHARACTER, not the dubber; something that these egomaniacs will never understand until it's too late.

Only Sabbot has a voice that's even remotely distinct out of all the DBZ characters( and even then, I betcha if you audition 10 people, 6 can do a similar voice ). Everyone else is pretty generic and would probably be really easy to replace.
