I watched the dbz movie the other day and holy shit is voice acting the easiest job ever, especially if you're on dbz and all you have to do is grunt and scream for an hour. People claim Vic is so good but the guy had like 7 sentences as broly and just screamed the rest of the time.

Most dub jobs aren't even good at what they're supposed to be, yet cucks continually accept a sub-par dub as just part of what you deal with as an anime fan. People will make excuses for shitty dubs because they're so desperate to not have to read.

Basically. But one big advantage of dubs is that they don't demand 100% of your attention. Is there an anime that you want to keep up on or just think is kinda brainless fun and want to watch it while doing something else like cooking or working out? Works a lot better to watch the dub. If you look away from the screen for a few moments you won't miss something important. Trying to multitask while watching a sub is annoying and self defeating, I've found.

Or you could become a true weeaboo patrician and learn Japanese. But if you ever become one of those animu niggers who says "kawaii" and "desu desu" do the world a favor and commit honorable seppuku immediately.

The only shows I've found that work as good background noise are those structured like radio plays. Shows like Perry Mason, Star Trek TNG and Matlock which don't feature a lot of nonverbal action. You could really use any tv show or movie that's focused around dialogue rather than action, but my experience has been that those kinds of shows are somewhat rare.

It's certainly true that a sub requires more of your attention. But I don't generally watch anime as background noise ever. I'm sure I'd watch more anime if I DID watch it as background noise (I watch hardly any these days), but that's not something I intend to change. Watching less anime is probably a good thing.

Jewtube videos make much better background noise than dubbed anime does.

They did manage to humanize Broly more in this adaptation and make him something more than a literal giant crybaby, but he’s still very much a Saiyan of few words. I was looking forward to future installments with him and his green waifu, but now DB just puts me in a shit mood thanks to cuntimation and their clique.

I really do think they deserve to burn on their monopolization alone. They take the same handful of actors, give them all the roles, let them do all the writing and technical work, and box out anyone else who tries to get in and doesn’t drink their woke-aid. It’s an incestuous club of assholes who overestimate their value and it needs to end. I don’t mind some dubs, even prefer a few, but I’d gladly never watch a dub again if it meant their company going under.
