If nothing else, Nick has done extremely well to make the absolute morons think he's Vic's lawyer. Not by any actual action by him, since he's always denied being his lawyer, which is accurate, but by drawing mad fire upon himself. They are seriously dumb enough to think he's Vic's lawyer for no good reason other than never actually listening to the opposing side.
This led to several idiots saying dumb shit because they thought that because of Nicks loony conduct they could get away with it. Nick's a useful idiot in some way.
