I'm not sure using the actions of Zimbabwe as a way of justifying the racism inherent in America is a particularly valid point. Should America really only be held to the standards of the lowest common denominator? America isn't nearly as bad as the SJW armies would have you believe, it's really not, but there is a cancerous bigotry within much of the population, and worse it's still systemic. The country never quite shed Jim Crow laws completely. Sure, America isn't any worse necessarily than the rest of the western world...but that hardly means it isn't guilty. It just means it's not as bad as it could be.

Of course with PC culture running rampant the incessant, empty need of the left to make absolutely everything about race and racism no matter what the topic or conversation is much more detrimental on the whole at the moment. I just don't think it's healthy to pretend that one side is right and one side is wrong. Both sides are wrong. About pretty much everything. The only reason Trump is president, for example, is because the left spent the better part of a decade telling everybody on the right they were Nazis.

Since then it's been nothing but an endless succession of Wallstreet spokesman advocating for commercialism, doing nothing for the American people, and gaining endless wealth at the expense of everybody else all while distracting the numb-brained public from what's actually going on by intentionally stoking the fires of inane social justice issues that the government has no business being involved with in the first place in order to keep the voters all too busy yelling at each other to actually pay attention.

Systemic racism exists less on an individual corporate basis, but more in governmental policy like mandatory minimums and etc. Corporations are soulless, evil things that care about nobody but the obscenely wealthy and their own profit line. They don't see skin color because they're too busy counting their money to look up at the people in front of them in the first place. They use racism and the guise of "fighting it" to distract people from the real evil that they do to the public in general on a regular basis. Once in a while someone fucks up and tries to stand on "conservative values" but they typically get slapped down immediately. Which is why business, at an executive level, is done behind closed doors even in the age of social media and the internet.

Businesses will never let themselves even appear to hold a social position that isn't currently in vogue with those who have the power to give them bad press. IMO, most business have no political or social positions at all. Just a money position: in favor of getting more. They go where the wind blows.

I concur. They go with whatever will bring them the most money, and will do everything they can to manipulate the system to get exactly what they want. It's why they've bought both the Republican and the Democratic party wholesale over the course of the last 40 years. There's a reason Bill Clinton told everybody the era of big government was over in the 90s in spite of campaigning on the exact same kind of populist rhetoric that Trump pushed in the 2016 campaign. The only difference between Clinton and Trump was that Clinton was better at covering his tracks and paying lipservice to idealism while pretending to be on the side of the people as he was actively helping to build the foundation for the corporate crash that Bush Jr. nurtured the rest of the way until the bottom finally completely fell out of it in 2007/8.
