Teachers never experience real life. They're lifetime academics, they go straight from full-time university to full-time teaching.

Hell, I'll go you one better and say most PEOPLE (who get a degree) don't experience real life until about age 25-30. They spend all the time before that in school.

Their reward for all the years of schooling is a big fat student loan debt and mostly-worthless degree. Unless they got one of those actually decent degrees.

People who play late 90s/early 2000s games and piss and moan about the game design being so much more obtuse annoy me to high heaven.

There are games I feel more like watching than experiencing. 100% playthroughs of Elder Scrolls is one of those. The only one I can stomach to 100% is Morrowind and I'll never do that because there's just too much to do.

Anyway, dude fires up Morrowind and talks all about how fond his memories of the game are only to promptly bitch about there not being any modern fast travel and he doesn't get how any game designer would think that was a good idea. He then bitches about his attacks not landing because he has such fond memories that he forgot Morrowind is an actual RPG and bases your skills on your character and not the player.

I'm not gonna act like Morrowind isn't obtuse here or there (some NPCs will blatantly lie about directions, for example) but complaining about fast travel? Come on, man.
