Also, this has nothing to do with anything, but my brother has this kid in the class, who gets triggered over the word "cube" for whatever reason, so nobody in class is allowed to use that word.
What does my brother do?
He puts a cube on his table. And he silently walks away.
I love my brother.

Remember how schools were supposed to prepare kids for real life? Apparently the teachers don't.Rushy wrote: ↑Mon Feb 25, 2019 1:30 amAlso, this has nothing to do with anything, but my brother has this kid in the class, who gets triggered over the word "cube" for whatever reason, so nobody in class is allowed to use that word.

Teachers never experience real life. They're lifetime academics, they go straight from full-time university to full-time teaching.

That's exactly the problem. The never leave the high school mentality behind and grow up.Guest wrote: ↑Mon Feb 25, 2019 4:00 pmTeachers never experience real life. They're lifetime academics, they go straight from full-time university to full-time teaching.

The kid should be fine if he sticks to rural areas, since cubes are quite rare in the wild.Guest wrote: ↑Mon Feb 25, 2019 3:46 pmRemember how schools were supposed to prepare kids for real life? Apparently the teachers don't.
Getting a cubicle job however...
Autism attracts more autism. Sooner or later, an internet nobody will attract the exact kind of fans - and detractors - he deserves.

What about ice cubes, or sugar cubes, or Ice Cube.

I went to a private school and at private schools over here you don't actually need a teaching qualification to teach. So at least a few of the teachers at my school had some experience of the real world.Guest wrote: ↑Mon Feb 25, 2019 4:00 pmTeachers never experience real life. Problem is that a lot of those very same teachers were lousy as educators.
