There's also at least one version for the Pokeymanz. Maybe even one for each generation.
But what I want is a Visual Novel were you can date the playing pieces.

Also a Star Wars one and a Ferrero one (the company that makes Kinder Suprise Eggs). Likely well, well more.

IP's are the only thing that keep monopoly relevant for normies.

Impressive how a board game everyone hates was such a success, though.

I mean monopoly isn't bad per say, but I can play it a million different ways and be anti social. Honestly catan is just better though.

Monopoly for Millenials is probably Monopoly's ultimate form.

I only play the OG version, and only if I can be the car.

The problem is that it's a four player game that's going to be a two player game soon and then you just have two people getting really bored for the next hour or so until the two remaining players are done. It's anti-social as fuck.

But it's the one every normie knows. Many of them might not have heard of a better games.Kugelfisch wrote: ↑Sun Feb 24, 2019 12:32 amImpressive how a board game everyone hates was such a success, though.
That's because Catan is a real game and not some weird anti-capitalism lecture that someone turned into the facsimile of one.
If I want to play something dumb and luck-based that everyone can play without thinking too hard, I'd go with Pachisi and it's derivatives. At least there you can make actual meaningful choices (by virtue of giving you more than one playing piece) and it doesn't take forever.

Re: Internet channels you hate, but not worth their own thread
My parents bought me a Disney Monopoly when I was younger. Later on, they bought a miniaturised Monopoly for my brother as well. There was a period when he would insist on playing it with me every single time we met, and I died a little inside every time he did, because I knew that if I started playing, I was just gonna be rolling dice, buying shit, rolling dice, paying rent, rolling dice etc. for like the next four hours.
And God help you if you play it with the auction, because then every single move you're gonna waste like five minutes arguing over prices.
I really wish somebody did a major overhaul of Monopoly and added some variety to it.
