Same. I played the first Nier and enjoyed it. They actually de-weebed it when they localized it, replacing some weeb shitter protagonist with an old man. The game is very rough around the edges but it was a lot of fun.

This new one looks like well-polished weeb trash for waifufags.

You played as the old man in the JP 360 version and the lil boi in the JP PS3 version. They just copy pasted the ord man for the burger PS3 version.

That's why I haven't played it and likely never will. For all the babbling about it being a masterpiece, that goes almost entirely for the story. A boohoo crybitch story written by one-trick-pony masketta nip. I don't care about that shit.
What I do care about is gameplay and that looked weak as fuck and boring. Why play that when you can play Bayonetta?

Not to mention that Nier seems a lot easier to break wide open. I mean you can equip yourself with stuff that automatically uses healing items for you, or a buff that adds a shockwave to all of your attacks in case you want to multiply your damage output and/or are that incompetent at hitting stuff.
