Apparently the guy in charge of Archie Comics right now is someone the company had sued years earlier for an unlicensed play about Archie coming out of the closet. It's no wonder there product went from mediocre to terrible "woke" garbage.

Idk how y'all became Sabrina the Teenage Witch experts, but I digress.

I remember seeing a few episodes of the cartoon as a kid and thinking it was fun.

I saw the pilot episode of this reboot and I think what really bugged me was that a lot of the cinematography and lighting as such was more evocative of Robert Eggers' "The Witch", and I feel like this particular premise is too campy to sustain that.



And I dig the fuck out of that movie, but really?? My first introduction to this reboot was an article titled "How Sabrina went from silly to Satanic" or something of the like and I'm just thinking "this seems wildly unnecessary."

That first episode made me think of the reaction to "Man of Steel" more than anything. Idk, maybe I'll livetweet it like Spoony when I have more time.

I hardly recognized Lucy Davis as one of her aunts. She REALLY let herself go after "The Office."
