Remember when they hyped the shit out of "One of our characters will die!" for what felts like at least one year? Then it happened to Krusty's dad, who's just a few steps above a one-off character.

I know Simpson's hasn't been good but this is still a big loss for everyone and just helps reinforce the fact that SJWs hold some sort of power over things.

Not really. They're not going to go back and erase old episodes of The Simpsons so really all they're doing is killing a dead show with their faux outrage and chronic inability to comprehend any kind of point.

If they must surrender to the SJWs (probably on Disney's orders), this is the best way to do it.
