Let me tell you the way of the Rhino.
Star chart levels up to 30: "I am immortal!"
Star chart levels 30 onwards: "I guess I'm not immortal after all."
After getting two Rhino specific mods: "Never fucking mind, I'm an immortal god!"

I like the Kohm a lot more than the Hek, surprisingly. Yeah it chews up ammo, but with fire rate buffs, NOTHING survives. All those advanced grineer and corpus enemies go down almost immediately. Ancients are shredded. Even the faction assassins (that hunt me) go down. Only bosses cause me trouble.

I've got so many fucking warframes building, lol. If I could change one thing about this game, it would be to reduce the amount of time between when you get your first and second frame. Even assuming you get a 2nd frame on the first DAY of booting up the game, you're looking at a wait time of 3-4 days, am I right? I realize they do that to convince you to spend money tho. I guess it's only 12 hours or something if you spend 50 plat. Which is a shit practice.

With all these warframes I'm building (Frost, Nova, Valkyr, Excal), I'll be grinding in the rift for a while just to get slots for them all.

It's kinda teaching you to be patient. Clan research can't be rushed at all for example. You have plenty of time.

Haven't really found any frame who feels like a main yet. Rhino is very easy to understand I guess, but that run speed though. Only thing I like about Mag is her 1. Volt is fun but fragile. Valkyr is complicated.

Rhino isn't slow, though. I assume you haven't found a speed mod, I guess.

I have armored agility. Rhino's not SLOW slow, but he's always slow compared to my squad mates. But I'm also just bad.

Oh and wtf some dude gave me a warframe just out of the blue, pretty much! A founding player. Super nice guy. I'm still gonna do all the stuff you would to farm that warframe normally, I just won't finish the farm I guess. Maybe I'll farm most of the parts and gift them to someone else or something.

You can't gift Warframe parts. That means the dude just outright bought you one.
The community is actually fucking great in Warframe. I told you to use chat if you ever have any questions or something. People are very helpful and very generous because everyone knows how obtuse Warframe is. I've helped out plenty of noobs and given plenty of mods away just to help people out. I just tell them to do the same when they are eventually in the position to do so.
I've been gifted mods just like that without even asking for them. Like I'd mention using a certain weapon, I got asked if I had a weapon-specific mod, got then invited and just plain given it to me. Dude had multiple copies just lying around.

Yeah I mean, I didn't ask for anything. Obviously. I was just chatting with the guy and testing out excalibro in a pub game and he seemed to like that I was playing excal and working on normal frames (I told him about the frost and nova I'm building.) People in general have been super cool in warframe. I was very nervous initially about playing public games but I've been doing it a lot lately because most people are relaxed and nice.

Excal is really fun btw. His 2 is super strong and spammable.

Excal is pretty much Warframe's Super Mario. He's a very good allround Warframe. Not broken or overpowered but capable in almost every situation. I like Excal and mostly play him for fun.

Oh and he can absolutely cheese planetary bridges. Blind the fucker, backstab one-shot. Hilarious.
