Re: Warframe General Sperge
Next time I play warframe, I'll add you bro. I checked friend requests under steam but not in the actual game for some reason.

Re: Warframe General Sperge
So, the dev stream was just now. Every time that happens, there are special alerts called "Gift of the Lotus". They are usually very easy missions with good rewards. Right now, there's one for a Pistol Riven Mod, which you should absolutely grab and one for an Orokin Accelerator, which you should grab even more. They are active for 19 more hours as of this post.
Always grab those reactors, called potatoes!
There's a version for Warframes and companions and one for weapons. They double the mod points. Absolutely vital shit if you want to get something up to it's full potential! Don't waste those on shit weapons, though. But grab whenever you see them. You WILL need them at some point and you can't just farm them otherwise.

I'll do that. I saw that gift of the lotus shit and didn't know what it was. I don't know what alerts/missions are worth doing. I did do a quest earlier that I saw specifically gave a blueprint for something. I think it was a sword.

Re: Warframe General Sperge
Alerts worth going for:
- Weekly, Maroo's quest for the Ayatan Statue. I'm sure you've found Ayatan Stars. They are either blue or orange and are displayed on your HUD when they drop. Pick those up. Put them into Statues at your mod station, sell those statues for Endo to Maroo at the Relay at Mars.
- Regular alerts that award blueprints you don't have (not very urgent), stuff you need right then or any that award Niatin.
There are four Niatin alerts every day scattered irregular throughout the 24 hours.
Grab Niatin whenever you see it available! You will need that for something eventually and if it's all you're missing it's a real fucking pain in the ass to "farm" it.
Every Niatin alert, you'll see people streaming into the "looking for group" chat. Use some group as a Taxi if the alert is on a node you don't have unlocked. It's the one thing I'd really advise to play in open in either case because whatever the alert mission, wherever it is, you'll have people well overleveled in any random group and you'll just blast through that mission.
Seriously, I can't stress how urgent you should take Niatin alerts. The fucking stuff is even called Alertium because there's no reasonable way to farm it at all. There are always a couple of dozen people just shitposting in chat, waiting for an alert. It's like the floodgates are opened when it comes up.
Otherwise, just grab what seems cool and attached to a mission you could reasonably manage. Everything repeats eventually, so there's nothing you're missing. But Niatin you'll need quite a bit of eventually and it sucks shit to have everything else but lack five of those and just sit there every evening just hoping for alerts on it. I've been there.

Re: Warframe General Sperge
I figured out the thing with the scanners. I was being dumb. They didn't show up in the marketplace because I had "hide owned" clicked and I ALREADY OWNED SOME. I'm retarded. I don't know where I got them from. Last time I found a thing to scan, I didn't have a scanner. Oh well.
Level 30 Volt though. Is there a reason to keep max level warframes? I won't be getting rid of it because he's fun and I don't have another one, I'm just curious.

Re: Warframe General Sperge
Anything that isn't max level is pretty much considered to not even be ready. Most Warframes will require leveling them again after using a Forma. That goes even more so for weapons. But up until you have mods that cost so much you can't fit them all, there's no need to do that.
I wouldn't sell a Warframe, unless you've got the prime version of it as well. Even one that isn't so great has a good chance of getting a rework eventually.

Re: Warframe General Sperge
I went ahead and farmed Mag because it was so easy. The boss that gives her is a joke. Her requirements to build are also pretty low. I probably won't use her much but hey, Volt is max level and it'll give me someone to fuck around with while I wait for the 400ish plastids I need. Can't wait to get rid of the last of my mk1 weapons. I'm saving up my shitty capture the flag missions for next time I feel like co-oping. I hate hate hate doing this shit solo. Even when you're doing it correctly solo (hey, I've beaten a couple of them with no help) it still feels like ass.
I made it to the void and now I think I'm at whatever place is past Phobos. I've got a lot of stuff sitting in my foundry getting built. I have a Boltor now and I'm waiting on a replacement for the mk1 furis and heat sword. Hopefully when my furis hits max level, I'll be able to rank my guy up and buy a secondary that isn't garbage.

Re: Warframe General Sperge
The Boltor will serve you well. It's a projectile weapon so the steel spikes it fires have travel time. Takes a bit of adjustment but it pinning fuckers to walls, being fairly powerful and having awesome sound and feel easily makes up for that.

I'm used to travel time considering I've been using the mk1 paris for so fucking long. It feels nice to have full auto and be able to unload at close range.

Re: Warframe General Sperge
The braton is fucking sick! I bought it on my shitty ps4 account while fucking around because I didn't want ANY mark 1 weapons, and it shreds. With the braton, lato and skana, I feel pretty strong for these early levels. I'll definitely buy this for my main account.
