I would say wishing harm on somebody is in an entirely different league than using a location for a joke.

Not sure what the DHI opinion is on it, but I dig Venture Bros. I got into that show a few years back and found it pretty damn well written, especially by adult swim’s low standard. To me it does what Rick and Morty fails to do with nihilism, taking the recurring themes of failure and broken dreams and having optimistic characters instead wubba lubba dub dub I’m a miserable fuck and nothing matters.

Wait, is Rick just an insert for Dan Harmon? Unstable alcoholic degenerate?

Venture bros is kino, at least the first few seasons. I have not watch much past season 3, but I can assume they are just as good.

It’s a show that steadily improves as it goes. They’ve also woven a real web of intrigue in their mythos, the recent “Blue Morpho” story arc was great and took a seemingly unremarkable joke from season 1 and turned it into something big.

I only watched Venture Bros. up to season four. The season four finale was absolute kinography, I dunno if it could really be topped.
