I've really been lost after IMDB cowardly removed all their message boards. They were really helpful in tracking down rare stuff. Do you guys know of any forums that specialize in obscure films, especially Asian ones?
Damn, I'm sad to hear that. I used to surf them as well to find rare movies or to read up on archived conversations about whether or not obscure foreign films were probably shit.
I had some old cyberpunk film blog site thing I used to go to, but other than that I can't think of any place to go to find out about obscure asian films. I used to get a lot of my movie reviews from a website called dvdverdict which may be gone by this point.
Edit: I just checked and dvdverdict is still up, but they changed their formatting and review style entirely and now the website a shit.

Or when they faked the moon landing in the first place.

Imagine spending a billion US dollars to be a loser. Could've watched animu and be one for free.

Apparently the new Neil Armstrong movie with Ryan Gosling won't show them planting the American flag because it might offend someone.
Lol, they should've doubled-down and have him plant a rainbow flag.
(Also the very act of landing on the moon offends Muslims.)

I've seen speculation they'll pull a Die Hard PG-13 and cover the "man" part with static. I don't think the Hollywood lefties are that bold yet, but if it happens I will see this shit in theaters opening day just to laugh my ass off.

One small step for a person. One giant leap for diversity.
(Also how insane do you have to be to make a movie based on historical events whose most iconic moments you find problematic? You might as well make a Hitler movie where you cut out the whole WW2 & Holocaust thing because that would offend people.)

It's honestly some 1984 shit Hollywood are using movies as a tool to rewrite history so future generations believe their version of events over what actually happened.
I just finished watching Love & Mercy. Great film, great performances but my god the Brian Wilson story is depressing.

To be honest, while I see where you're coming from, the movies have always played fast and loose with history (see: Braveheart) which is why only an idiot would look to them as any kind of historical reference

This reminds me how we made a movie about the Red Baron where we not only gave him a made-up romance with a nurse (modern Kraut anti-war movies always need a romance. I think half of them are even about some thot having some love triangle bullshit after her husband went MIA), but also had him turn pacifist.
