The last thing people want to do is stay in an enclosed space with other people who could be spreading their germs
Then why were the restaurants fucking packed as soon as they were opened? Twatter leftists aren't representative of normalfags - and even they are just virtue signalling and fill the beaches, clubs, restaurants, planes and the cinema as soon as they are open.

Seeing and hearing a movie in the theater is still something that can't be recreated at home. Even quiet stuff like The Courier benefits from it.
Yeah, it's so good to sit with hundreds of other people talking and making noise at the same time, after paying an arm and a leg to get into it.

Every few decades the movie theater experience evolves, out of necessity because there's so much competition for entertainment. When I was a kid in the 80s, most theaters I went to were little crappy places inside malls. In the late 90s, early 00s, most of those places were gone and replaced by huge megaplexes with giant screens and stadium seating. Then came digital projection and IMAX.

As for today, I really like the restaurant/theater set-up if only because it eliminates the concession stand line. You order your drinks and food in the theater and they bring it to you. Buy your tickets online and you don't wait in any lines at all anymore. At some places, this same system is used to report talkers and cellphone users, who are warned and then kicked out if they don't stop. I love those places. I will drive right past an AMC to go an Alamo where they do all of that.

I fear that it won't be nearly as cringy as everyone's hoping it will be. Maybe it's just boring.
That’s the worst thing a Bond movie can be. Moonrakers the worst one mainly because it puts me to sleep every fucking time.

DHI is proof you can be both a massive homosexual and a virgin. They're not exclusive. If you display both in large enough quantities you can qualify for mod status.

It's not worth the effort. Watch a pirated transcode on your laptop with your earbuds and you get a "good enough" consoomption experience for nominally free.

Godzilla vs Kong was fun in the theater. Army of the Dead probably would have been too.

Who said anything about covid, you fucking dolt? It's not a health hazard issue, it's purely a silence and comfort one.

Yeah, stop attributing my hatred of other humans to covid fear. I hated them before this.
