Mainly because DBZ is the mainstreamiest weebshit to ever weeb on the mainstream.

It's also the one shounenshit show every weeb can agree on. As soon as the "Big Three" (Wann Piss, Weebuto, BrainBleach) came around there was an ever so slight console war mentality.

(Also the options for weebshit have increased big time since the olden days.)

Yeah, DBZA is popular because Dragon Ball has that specific wide appeal. The majority of DBZA fans watched it, religiously, growing up. All I remember about Yugioh's show is that we all made fun of the goofy intro theme and not much else.

DB and especially DBZ were never really considered anime here by any of us back then. It was just a cartoon show, it was cool and it ran at the perfect time in the afternoon when you'd be done with school and eating.

I learned what anime actually was at a very young age and it set me up on a path of destruction of both myself and the world around me from day one.

Well he has editors and a couple of voice actors, but yeah it's mostly just him.

It's astounding that, despite all of the hiatuses LK took, DBZA never caught up. Yeah LK had a two year lead on them but he also would take four or five months in between episodes some times. Meanwhile DBZA would come out every month or two but never came close to surpassing YGOA.
Not always and he got an editor much, much later and after he took on things like Mark Remark and whatever else shit he did at the time. So yeah, if anything, a, according to Martin himself, self-loathing, unmotivated brit with depression that has to take hiatuses is just shitting all over a "professional team" that also had a patreon longer than LK(?) a Let's Play channel that made extra money on the side and more convention requests etc.    And he actually gets bit roles in vidya far more often than any of those, being in like.. three Tales of Games, the Mana remake and another big SE project? And he's the "unknown small person / relic". TFS have reached new levels of being pathetic every time I hear news about them.

PS : 40% of homeless Murka is LGBTBBIERFJVYVSGHFHERIYFYEYTFUYEWFIU654434578+_+_+ in the head? Are we sure that homelessness in America is now about low paying jobs horrible administration, the government machine and the whole nine yards of "government bad, poor people good" and not just fags quitting jobs because the owner just want them to strip in the middle of the cafeteria and try to grab a guy's ass?
