Here's the deal. Know why kids cry so often when they are taken to the supermarket by their mother? Mothers wait and let misbehaviour slip way too long. When the father is around, they usually just get a stern "No!" right when they start to get difficult and that's that. Because they know there is no messing around with daddy when he gets serious.

I dont really think no father = thug but Ive followed a lot of discussions about this (mainly from the black community) and it seems that kids growing up without a father will be more emotional instead of rational.

They let their emotions get the best of them and responde according to their emotions almost like women. So if they get insulted or egodamaged they cant control themselves and need to prove themselves or act out in violence.
