Re: DSP Thread: Bugged Forum mechanics
He left Curse in record speed. I wonder if the new MCN will last. He sure is in a hurry to give other people his money in exchange for a feeling of false security and someone to blame when his business fails.

I've heard that new MCN of his is a scam but at this point does it really matter? If he's stupid enough to fall for that it's his fault.

Not a scam per se, but a very shoddy one. Most of the people their partnered with are Brazilian anime "reviewers", and the guy who own Laveria Media is a 21-years old British brat fresh out of college. Phil is in good, professional hands, you see.

Re: DSP Thread: Bugged Forum mechanics
That's just perfect.
You see, the reason he left Curse is very simple, and he laid it out for his viewers:
-His new MCN is offering him MORE MONEY
-His new MCN is offering him a managed partnership, which means immunity from copyright claims apparently
So it's his own greed that caused everything. He ended up getting tons of his videos claimed and losing essentially 100% of his youtube revenue stream (at least temporarily) because he was so fucking greedy that he couldn't just stay with Curse. He fucked up the MCN switch by fucking up applying for an adsense account, and now he has to hope that YT fixes the problem and also doesn't notice he's been banned by adsense in the past.
Everything he does, he does because of greed that would make Angry Joe jealous. He stayed with Machinima for all those years because of greed. Then he left them because his revenue dropped and he got all pissed off and blamed them, shot off his mouth and they canceled his contract. When he talks about "interacting" with fans, that's code for his fans giving him money via twitch and paymetons, and him shilling his garbage merch. This is someone with zero passion for anything. Shit, this is what Spoony would be if he had a "work" ethic and was still making videos.

Didn't Machinima also dare to give him advice on how to improve his viewership and stuff? Those monsters.

You have a point. His final video is really going to be something when he's finally reached the end of the line and has to get a real job.
Re: DSP Thread: Bugged Forum mechanics
It seems that the new MCN is a school project by a student. Which also has signed on a few other channels which don't care that much about copyright.

So he's basically the YT equivalent of April?
"Everyone else on this MCN is at least 10 years older than me. Looks like I'm the only serious adult!"

Re: DSP Thread: Bugged Forum mechanics
After some research by a podcast named 'sons of kojima' it turns out they rejected Phil because of his unedited videos and probably his legacy. The adsense account he is using right now is probably of his girlfriend because the old one is being banned.
In other words ; his whole adult work business is in the hands of someone who can ditch him. He has lost the ownership of his channels.
It's even a question if he can go back to Curse at all
