Re: Movie Thread
Still the best Dune soundtrack.
Autism attracts more autism. Sooner or later, an internet nobody will attract the exact kind of fans - and detractors - he deserves.

Re: Movie Thread
Kyle MacLachlan's social media thing is that he's wholesome and nice to his fans. As far as I know, i don't think he ever gets political at all. He keeps things upbeat and happy and doesn't say anything bad about any of his past work. More celebrities should be like that.
Also, I like Lynch's "Dune", too.
Good Kyle MacLachlan sleeper film: THE HIDDEN from 1987, in which he plays an alien posing as an FBI agent who teams up with a cop (Michael Nouri) to defeat a cosmic menace on the streets of El Lay. It's a great 80s overdose and a fun action flick.

I mean, what's the point? I have no energy to elaborate because I know it'll fall on deaf ears anyway with you. You don't see it, you don't see it.
Everything just goes in the square hole.

It's the principle of the matter. Hearing different views is one of my favourite parts of being on the internet. Even if they are bizarre and puzzling views.Kugelfisch wrote: ↑Wed Dec 18, 2024 12:25 amI mean, what's the point? I have no energy to elaborate because I know it'll fall on deaf ears anyway with you. Re: Movie Thread
It's still going to be a waste of time for me. If you actually found it that intriguing, you'd just give it some thought why I would come to the conclusion I did.

I've no idea. Because he gets tortured? Because he's not 'prime Bond' going on missions? Because of the Vesper drama hanging over him? Those are the only throughlines I can think of for the entire era. None seem particularly humiliating.

This is like the equivalent of someone sadposting on Twitter and refusing to elaborate.
