And in some cases, what the police bring does not adequately respond to a situation, or its an overcorrection. People, especially suburbanite whiteys, call the cops too much, and it can wind up being over stupid shit.

There's clearance rates in some of these cities like St Louis or Albuquerque that is in the like single digits. The workload could go down, for the purpose of rising efficiency.

However, the police serve a highly necessary function.
