dog food. Or meat.
Dog food is meat.

Wet food is mostly offal with some filler. I have no idea what's in the dry stuff and don't care.

Eh. I wasn't impressed when I first saw it years ago and I'm still not, probably because people keep calling it a masterpiece. It's got some good scenes and acting, but it's just a guy traveling through various war scenes until he finds a fat man who immediately dies. It feels like the work of a drugged out Italian who thinks he's saying something important about humanity and war or whatever because he's so high it literally made his heart pop. Supposedly the making-of documentary is pretty good, but I have yet to see it as nobody will upload the damn thing.
You should read the book as well. You may prefer it. Both are fairly different. Apocalypse Now is a transplant of Heart of Darkness into the Vietnam war. You might like the original colonial setting better.
All I know about the book is Star Trek Insurrection was supposed to be a dark adaptation with Data as the Kurtz character but Patrick Steward demanded they change it to some generic old man action bullshit just because.

So that explains why the first 10 minutes was Data going apeshit, and then it never being mentioned again

And yet Nemesis managed to be so much worse. Then Abrams Trek came along and managed to be worse than all of them put together

Patrick Stewart is a SJW and the warning signs were there all along. If you told me he was solely responsible for the shit heap that is Picard, I'd believe it having seen this awful fucking movie.

The fact that he was a dyed-in-the-wool Yorkshireman socialist and Labour party member who played Lenin in a TV miniseries was a pretty big fucking giveaway. That and his self-proclaimed male feminism. Plus the fact that he's even willing to be seen with Ian McKellen. What did you want him to do? Carry around a big neon sign?

I don't live in Eurostan, bro. I can't follow the lives of goofy Brit celebs.

Lame movie all around. Tyrone Magnus has skill and he's got at least a little charisma, but he's no Van Damme. This is a bottom-of-the-barrel remake of Sudden Death with generic choreography, a terrible villain, and instead of hockey it takes place in a shitty basketball arena with maybe 100 extras. It's also only an hour and twelve minutes long but it feels like a fucking miniseries.

The far better original, which wasn't really that good either (definitely mid-tier Van Damme):
