No cut can save that piece of shit movie Godfather 3. Coppola wasn't even interested in making it and only made it for money. There are a bunch of Coppola apologists defending the movie: "The first two films built unrealistic expectations for this film", "it's a misunderstood masterpiece", "If you can watch it as a standalone movie without the expectations created by previous movies, it's actually very good". No, no, no. It's shit, even when regarded as a standalone movie. Pacino puts up a decent performance, but that doesn't help when the script is crap, the dialog is crap and the plot is crap.

Coppola lost his mainstream appeal a long time ago, but it's interesting to me that he actually did what George Lucas said for decades that he was going to do, but hasn't.

Lucas was going to walk away from his big franchise and make "small, personal films" and not care if they made a dime.

Lucas has never followed up on that, but today Coppola is doing exactly that.

What's amazing is she's famous for literally doing nothing. She's just Lorde with bigger tits and edgier lyrics. All her songs are incredibly overproduced and she doesn't do anything but drag herself into a bedroom studio between gangbangs and whisper into the mic while the next group of "producers" prepares to make her airtight. You could literally grab any random girl off the street and plug her into a Billy Eyelash song and nobody would know the difference.
