So, nobody caught wind of the CBOMB problem plaguing PS4 and PS5?
To put it simply : remember when Microsoft locked the player from accessing their physical and digital games if the XBONE or the XseX series didn't confirm you identity from the internet connection via your microsoft account? Well, Sony did something similar : if your CMOS battery dies and the PSN servers close, you will be unable to play your digital games and your PS4 will lock up and you will not be able to play even your physical games.
Yes, putting a disc in a PS4 and trying to play the game is impossible because it's treated like an error due to the CMOS battery being borked. And it was on purpose of course. Thanks Mark Cerny. I guess that's revenge for people not taking Knack seriously. 
Needless to say, this has been passed around, made a big deal off and the PS5 orders still haven't slown down, that'll show Sony.
