Yeah those long running series are intimidating to me as well. Thankfully it’s serialized so you can pick it up at almost any point and enjoy it. Same with the italian comic Diabolik, I was reading some of that too. Reading Battle Angel Alita right now, damn it’s good.

I’m reading the deluxe editions, basically big hardcover high quality collections of the original manga. It’s an important series to me for several reasons, and I’m enjoying every minute of it.

That movie looked decent, although I think it was a prime example of sjw double standards. Everyone bitched about Death Note and Ghost in the Shell, despite them being american adaptations. You know, like when another country remakes an american movie they don’t cast american actors.

Don’t get me wrong, I think the cast was great. Rosa Salazar actually looks like Alita, she even has very pretty big eyes that made the digital effect they used unnecessary. She’s Peruvian/French and Christoph Waltz is a german guy playing a japanese character. I like the cast fine, but just hate that double standard.
