Also the whole notion of 'traps is a transphobic term' is dumb because that shit falls apart in real life. It might work for anime since all they do is just draw a girl and slap a dick on it, but ain't no one is gonna be fooled and trapped by the likes of Laura Kate Dale.

It's stuff like this that's made me wonder how many of them are faking it for attention and going really far.

I've met a few trans girls during my old counselling work and one thing that was consistent with all of them is how much effort they put in to looking like real women. Make up, hair, clothes, padded bra, whatever they could do. They'd be shaving in the bathroom in the afternoon to avoid having a 5 o'clock shadow. Even Iron Liz would put in effort, to the point where many people bought it for years.

Most of the ones on tumblr though, they just have coloured hair and wear feminine clothing. They're cross dressers at best.

I think the ones you are talking about just want it as a badge to wear.

Though, the ones who were shaving, did they consider something like waxing the facial hair or laser removal? I would think shaving to keep the 5 o'clock shadow at bay would be tedious.
