I went on a diet for a month to see how easily I could lose a few pounds, can confirm drinking a lot more water really does make you eat less. I was surprised how often i didnt feel hungry.

Well no shit. They probably need to test to decide if they want to risk a surgery.

These doctors don't make you lose weight BEFORE weight loss surgery because they're cruel. They do it:

a) to reduce the risk of YOU DYING on the operating table and
b) to see you are committed to not wasting their time and money on the operation

These operations aren't no-effort jaunts for the people involved. These are long, difficult surgeries. It takes sweat, tears and talent to operate on a landwhale and reduce their body mass without murdering them in the process.

The doctor probably needs to check boogie's weight and overall health to decide if it's time to tap out. They're not going to operate if they think Boogie will die on the table.

I haven't watched any of boogies shit in about a year, but yeah, if he's claiming 250kg or 550lbs then he is claiming loss even though that has been his "stable" weight for years. And the 270kg is the same max weight he claims was a result of dating a feeder.

A few years ago, when he was doing Paleo or Keto or some shit, he said he was below 500lbs.

500lbs would only be down MAYBE 20lbs from the last time I heard him talk about his weight. Pretty sure 550 was an old weight.

He's probably trying to hype up how much he's lost in preparation for the doctor to tell him he hasn't lost enough, so he can respond "b-but I've lost so much, honest!"

Yeah, a weight loss surgery doctor isn't impressed by a loss of 20lbs. That's why I was shocked to hear he was getting a surgery in the first place. They usually want to see at least 70 lbs, maybe 50lbs, of weight lost. It's not hard when you're 530lbs to lose that much, and it shows a commitment to change your lifestyle.
