I would totally watch some Slice-of-Life shit with this guy.

He would go on and on how longswords are the superior weapon.
Or how The Magnificient Seven is the definitive version of Kurosawa's original vision.
Or how RoboTech is obviously superior to its various source materials.
Instead of J-Pop, he would listen to country music. Or possibly Neue Deutsche Welle.
And he would paint BattleTech models in his spare time, for it is the only mecha franchise you'll ever need.
