"But nobody on DHI likes Fury Road, guest poster!"
It's official: Fury Road is the greatest film of the decade.

Kek. Yeah, Dawn of the Dead's social commentary isn't very subtle, but it isn't annoyingly hamfisted either. Hell, it's a masterclass in subtlety compared to Get Out.VoiceOfReasonPast wrote: ↑Mon May 13, 2019 8:12 pmDid you know that zombies are an allegory to consumerism?!

I think I've said it before but white, uppity, liberal critics making a big show about praising Get Out is the exact kind of behavior the movie satirizes.Cuckara wrote: ↑Mon May 13, 2019 7:40 pmIt's irritating how every film critic acts like Get Out is the most brilliant horror film ever made because it has social commentary. Social commentary has been a part of the genre for decades. These idiots need to watch some George A. Romero and David Cronenberg.

That's the funniest thing about Get Out's critical acclaim. It blows my mind that none of these critics were able to figure out that they're the people the film is mocking.

I think I saw Inception once and that was the beginning of my falling out of love with Nolan. The film is immensely overratedKugelfisch wrote: ↑Mon May 13, 2019 1:26 amI've seen Inception. That's it. It was okay gun porn but not a movie I'd re-watch.

Must've been the Dork Knight iteration of Bane.
