Sarcasm aside, we discussed this a few pages back. This is a fifteen year old autistic boy. To take the boy to Korea, his mother would have to find not only an English-speaking international school but, most likely, an international school that does special education. If such a thing exists it's likely to be very expensive and remember they're supposed to be broke because TB didn't care about the wife and what happens to her after he died either. Then there's the added fact that, even if she managed to find a school for him, he's still a stranger in a strange land. Fifteen years old and uprooted away from his friends and other family to a country where he'd find it difficult to get by as he probably can't speak Korean.

It sounds shitty but honestly, leaving him in America with family and allowing him to live his life with as little disruption as possible while his mother goes and earns a living for them elsewhere is probably the better of two shitty options here
