Recently I attended a conference with catered lunch. I'm a vegetarian so I had a vegetable sandwich with soy cheese. It was basically just a really thin slice of tofu. I couldn't even finish it. It was so gross. Most meat analogues are pretty good but for some reason it's really hard to make vegan cheese that doesn't taste like ass.

So are you vegetarian or vegan? Which one is it? Because if you're just vegetarian, why not just go for actual cheese.

I'm a vegetarian. At these types of events, they have several types of sandwiches like turkey and ham, but there's only one vegetarian option and it doesn't include cheese or eggs so vegans are able to eat it too. If I'm really lucky there's egg salad, but most of the time I am forced to dine on a sad, cheeseless vegetable sandwich.

I'm not even going to ask why vegetarian because that's some women/faggot shit and I may as well ask how somebody could suck dick - comes with the territory, I guess.

To be honest, most meat analogues don't taste at all like meat. The psychological association from eating actual meat can be attributed to the sauce. A vegan hot dog reminds me of eating a beef hotdog because it has mustard and a bun, not because of the vegan hot dog itself.

So do I. Just so happens that some are delicious as well. As I mentioned elsewhere, I, in fact, don't eat animals I don't like. For example, I wouldn't eat scallops. I find them vile and offensive, disturbing even.
