In the Air Tonight is the best Genesis song.

That was just Phil and not genesis. Land of confusion is best genesis though.

I listen to a lot of faggy old shit that my parents were into. Feels bad. My music tastes are one of my more shameful interests. Its not that I'm truly ashamed but I'd rather people not find out. This must be what being a fag feels like.

Something similar happened to me when I was a kid, my dad worked for an oil company in the middle of nowhere, so the main entertainment were cassette tapes with 80 rock/pop music, and elvis and beegees stuff as well, so I got very brainwashed.

My dad was very anti-modern music for most of the 90s and didn't really relent until my brother started asking for CDs by people he had heard at school. Until then the closest thing to new we had was REM's Automatic for the People.
Also, I thought PUR was 40? I remember her talking about having Windows 3.1 as a kid.

Why'd you need to be 40 for that? That came out in the early 90s.

Ironically, I was the opposite. My parents listened to a bunch of stupid meme songs (comedy songs) and pop music. I grew up, discovered old rock and roll and 70s metal and migrated away.
I never liked the Beatles. Elvis is ok but Little Richard is better. The Rolling Stones are still great. They'll be skeletons at this rate, and still hype as fuck. Same applies for AC/DC.

I didn't mean to meme myself with the song choice, but that's so perfect I think I'll keep it.
