pioneered taking this stupid, no budget shitty schlock way too seriously. Say what you will about Doge, at least on some level he understood the anniversary specials were stupid schlock. Lewis thinks the Linkara mythos is some kind of deep, profound statement about good and evil. Also the whole "are you a Nazi, Linkara?" monologue was actually kind of funny, which blows any joke Linky has ever told out of the water.
