Nostalgia critic has blown up in popularity, and it's not because hes smart or funny or anything, it's because:

A) They cater to the kiddy crowd, much like markiplier and gamegrumps and shit
B) They have a scheduled review every week, making it so more people are likely to look out and tune in.

If you brute force your shit enough eventually you will grow an audience. Nostalgia critic was already popular back then, but I'd argue hes much more popular today.

Channel awesome is done though, that shit faded years ago just like normal boots and final bosses.
