Zack Snyder's Rebel Moon has been received with a resounding "meh" by both users and professional reviewers.
It turns out that when you give Zack Snyder hundreds of millions of dollars to make a Star Wars clone, you will get an overpriced clone of Battle Beyond the Stars (aka a thinly veiled copy of both Star Wars and Seven Samurai) with none of the charm, but all of the Snyderism you have probably already grown tired of by the end of 300.

But don't worry. Of course there will be at least one Director's Cut.

He sure took a swing - and the movie has its moments. The problem is as VORP described it - he decided to mutilate his movie solely to create another SNYDER CUT type movement. What exists is about 40% clumsy exposition - which is exactly what audiences want from a director known for his action scenes.
