In a way, it's sort of both. Shane kept claiming that there wouldn't be any TI with contracts because Nick didn't have the details of any contracts in front of him. Thing is, Nick wasn't even talking about TI with contracts at the time; he was talking about TI with prospective business relations, that is, people in future not dealing with Vic because of defamatory claims. Shane was the one who kept banging on about contracts. What's hilarious is that it now turns out he was wrong about that, too. He kept saying that Nick didn't know what he was talking about, how could you possibly have anything to say if you don't have all the details of a contract blah blah blah. Well, as Nick reports here, we don't have to know every single detail of a contract to know that TI could well have taken place; just that cancellation or interference has occurred. He loses a point for mixing up "infer" and "imply", though.

And yeah, that person he was talking about who contacted multiple cons and all of that... that's almost certainly Marz. Who else could it be?
