Re: Mush-Brain Mega-Thread (Brandon and His Presidency)
Biden is still pissing in his boots (I'd normally say "quaking" except he's senile and old, you see). That rush of executive orders is gonna get nullified real fast by Trump's own wave of executive orders. Just you wait. The floodgates are going to open on those executive orders. If you thought you saw a lot of them shits before now, you ain't seen nothin' yet.
Any executive orders issued by Biden that CAN be reversed by Trump, will be. Any others will be kicked to the various houses which are also controlled by Republicans. Expect basically every Obama and Biden-era policy to get cancelled.

Supposedly, Trump has 100 executive orders that he'll sign on the first day.

Completely believable. Get ready for some absolutely crazy shit + amazing potential for entertaining chimpouts once he takes office.Lindsay's Liver wrote: ↑Thu Jan 09, 2025 7:45 pmSupposedly, Trump has 100 executive orders that he'll sign on the first day.
Look how fast the trans bathroom shit flipped. He wasn't even in office yet when they had trans bathrooms nixed.

So I guess to actually get from the Dems what they promised you have to vote them out with extreme prejudice.
Of course only when it's something objectively bad for the economy like this.

No one in my household has had their student loan cancelled. I'll be very surprised if this changes.

My thing on student debt is there’s a lot of people that qualified for relief from the federal government like 20-30 years ago for degrees like accounting, not gender studies - that never received said relief.
They’re doing their damndest to push something thru. I doubt it sticks, even if I’d argue it should. All that money goes back into things like the housing market and other such sectors of the economy.

Yep. Nobody I know has had it cancelled either. The only cancellations I've heard of are for the people who got in at the very beginning of the program or those who are working for the government.Lindsay's Liver wrote: ↑Mon Jan 13, 2025 11:20 pmNo one in my household has had their student loan cancelled. Cue retarded boomers wondering why nobody in my generation and younger is having kids or buying houses. All that money goes back into things like the housing market and other such sectors of the economy.
