It's amazing how bad Ant-Man 3 is doing. It may not even hit 500 million in the box office. And if you are nice and say that a movie needs to hit 2.5 times its budget to break even, it most likely won't do that. So it's a flop. And with the pushing The Marvels until September, they MCU may be on its last legs.

Muh Black Panther 3 will be a hit, especially if Angela Bassett wins tonight - as well as Guardians 3 - and the million Spider-Man movies I’m sure they’re planning.

And with the pushing The Marvels until September, they MCU may be on its last legs.

And that's a good thing.

Though I wouldn't be too optimistic here. They have a few Marvel properties left which they have yet to do anything with every since they re-acquired the licenses. I'm sure these are left as an emergency procedure, effectively doing a soft reboot of the MCU by focusing on these yet untapped characters and their storylines for a phase or two:

• Deadpool: The only reason they'd touch him is to immediately emasculate and replace him with the even more autistic Gwenpool (not to be confused with Spider-Gwen who is a different genderswap capeshitter)
• Fantastic Four: Well they've already shown an alternate universe version of Mr. Fantastic (to be brutally murdered by the Scarlet Bitch, of course), but I'm not sure if they're willing to touch the Fanta 4 yet. Their live-action adaptations are fucking cursed.
• X-Ma'am: A likely candidate. The 20th Century Fox movies had some major successes, and there are so many characters to base movies and Disney+ Original Series (tm) around.
  And I dunno about you, but personally I can't wait for a third rendition of the Dark Phoenix Saga.

They will keep churning that inane capeshit garbage because that's all they can produce right now. They rationalise that Ant-Man flopped because nobody cares about a shrinking superhero and they'll continue with the other garbage as planned.
