Slightly off topic but why are the Yanks so shit at Rugby? Their favourite sport is just a modified version of Rugby. You'd think they'd be good at the real thing. But they played against us in the Rugby World Cup and didn't score a single point. Just fucking no effort whatsoever.

Same reason we suck at soccer. All our best athletes are playing a different contact sport. It says a lot the few times our scrubs end up beating any kind of team.
You may as well ask about why our womens handball teams arent the best.
The sports see also different. Rugby guys basically only become occasional kickers over here.
Rugby is the only sport kiwiland does--that's why they do so well.
