>The White House offering a correction for what Biden has said

What a shocking twist of turns.

Luckily Russia's response was mild. I would have verbally reminded Biden what is at stake with threats like that.

Because Biden didn't say anything they weren't already aware of. Russians know damn well the aim here is regime change. Biden saying it publicly just gives them the excuse not to negotiate any peaceful settlement

It's not like anyone thinks Biden is competent either. They all know he's demented.

They know he's demented but the fact that he's gone and blurted this out suggests it was one of those things discussed with his handlers that he wasn't supposed to say out loud

It's getting more and more dangerous to keep him in office

The best thing about the current situation is that they can always blame it on Putin if "something" where to "happen" to the "president".

Yeah the best thing about the current situation is that they could totally declare World War III on another nuclear power if nature were to just take its course with their demented puppet.

It's not like anyone is surprised about NATO wanting Putin gone. That's why Moskow barely reacted. It's more just embarrassing for the USA that they can't let Biden talk without having a blunder.

Yeah, and the White House (Biden's Handlers) issuing a correction is their way of reassuring Putin that Senile Joe was talking shit. Of course they want a "regime change" but they're not interested in open warfare, nuclear warfare or any avenue of attack which made lead to same. Putin is safe so long as he keeps his inner circle loyal and stays clear of "lone gunman" situations.

I assume the reasons for the discrepancy between NATO-reported civilian deaths and the large number of civilian facilities targeted by Russian forces to be these:

-Many Ukrainian civilians (women and children) have already been evacuated
-Ukrainian men were pressed into service and do not count as civilian casualties
-Ergo, most of the buildings targeted were empty or minimally-occupied
-Russia's targeting of civilian hubs such as hospitals and supermarkets are more about denying Ukrainians access to those services than inflicting maximum civilian casualties (strip them of medical care and food and starve them out)

That said, civilian structures have absolutely been targeted by bombs and missiles. Unless every news organization on the world is lying to such an extent that Mariupol hospital, to take one example, was never hit.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mariupol_ ... _airstrike

Only four were killed, which says to me that the hospital did not have many people in it to begin with. Probably only those who could not be moved somewhere else.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mariupol_ ... _airstrike

Here is another example. But the fact in this case is we actually don't know how many people died. Reliable information is hard to come by and truth is the first casualty of war.
