He has something of a point. If Popular Vote were the arena that mattered, you would see a lot more Republicans in solidly blue states (and a lot more Democrats in solidly red states) actually voting. As it stands, a lot of people just don't vote because they 'know' there's no point in it.

This. It seems like the only place where it really matters if you get out and vote are the "swing states," and hell there might even be more states that swing.

Is that really the case, though? Lots of things were tried to get people to vote and never has anything worked. You've also got to keep in mind that the USA are some nigger 3rd world nation when it comes to voting, allowing people in several states to vote without any ID. You know, shit that wouldn't even fly in Somalia.

Typical Democrat niggershines. They're doing it as a last ditch attempt at holding onto any power in the state because their current governor (Dan Malloy) is the most unpopular in the entire country and while I'm not holding my breath for it, there's a big chance the R's might sweep a lot of offices on there this year.

Problem neither solution really is totally fair and unbiased or free of corruption.
